Standard checking accounts at KeyBank are available in four types. Key Coverage Checking carries a $10 per month fee but allows account holders several overdraft options. KeyBank waives the first two overdraft fees per month and does not assess fees on overdrafts of $10 or less. Excess overdrafts of $100 or less have only an $18 fee.
Key Express Checking requires at least $500 per month in deposits or five transactions per month or a monthly fee applies. This account has no minimum balance requirements.
The other two types of checking accounts are the Key Student Checking Account and the Key Checkless Access Account. All checking accounts include free 24/7 access to online banking and fee Bill Pay service.
KeyBank savings accounts are available as a traditional savings account, two types of money market accounts, a kid's account or a CD account. KeyBank CD terms range from 6 months to 10 years.
